Something I’m looking forward to today: Doing some work to prepare for my first time as a dungeon master in DnD.

Something I’m grateful for from yesterday: Seeing the movie You Gotta Believe as the Terrific Trio.

What I’m writing: Yesterday’s Two Crappy Pages involved some journaling.

What I’ve written: Continuing the AI Journ ey, a story about a dude who came from India to learn more about AI and who now is a data scientist at TikTok.

I typically write my daily drivel in the morning, but I had some work to do for a client of Johnny Boy Marketing that I wanted to get done before the day really got rolling, so I spent that time before the family awoke doing website updates and creating a video for her. So now my routine is all jacked up and I’m sitting down to spew my guts in the evening while Boy The Younger and Wifey Poo are at the former’s cross country practice.

It’s been a good day, overall. We made ribs for a late lunch/early dinner, I did some prep work for the Dungeons & Dragons adventure I’m going to be leading, I got that work done for my client, and I spent some time on the front porch smoking a cigar and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Every once in a while lately, I feel like not only do I see the light at the end of the tunnel of what has been a lifetime of shit but maybe like I’ve actually reached the end of the tunnel and am peeking my head out into the sunlight.
