Postgame Tunes: The drive back from the Cardinals game yesterday was done to The Adventure Zone podcast.

Something I’m looking forward to today: A massage. My neck is super-jacked and tomorrow I’m having nerves burned to kill them and hopefully relieve things, but today is all about pre-gaming that procedure.

Something I’m looking forward to in the next seven days: My neck not f’n hurting all the time.

Something I’m grateful for from yesterday: Seeing Boy The Younger sing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” with his choir at the Cardinals game.

What I’m writing: Yesterday’s Two Crappy Pages involved two a story for a Johnny Boy Marketing client about the differences between targeted therapy and immunotherapy in cancer treatment.

What I’ve written: To honor our patriotism on the anniversary of 9/11: Gamifying War: Where Are They Now?

Waking up on this September 11, one might imagine the public narrative is about that day our nation was attacked. It might even be about how, 23 years later, we are still bombing countries and people under post 9/11 edicts who have absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.

But no.

Because there was a presidential debate last night.

And that means the public narrative is going to be absolutely batshit crazy.

So instead of some sort of patriotism or memorial, we’re talking about whether migrants in Springfield, Ohio, do or do not steal and eat your family pets.
